Who We Are?
Muslim Jamaat Trust is a registered non-profit charitable trust established in 2022 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. Registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, we operate with complete transparency, accountability, and strict adherence to Sharia principles.
Our work focuses primarily on empowering the Muslim community while extending help to all in need, especially during emergencies and natural disasters. We believe in building a strong, educated, and self-reliant Ummah that contributes positively to society.

- Women & Youth Empowerment: Vocational training in skills like tailoring, computer literacy, and entrepreneurship.
- Orphan & Widow Welfare: Monthly sponsorships, educational support, and livelihood assistance.
- Ramadan & Qurbani Distribution: Food packs, iftar arrangements, and meat distribution to the needy.
- Disaster Relief: Emergency aid during floods, earthquakes, and other crises – extending help to all affected communities.
- Waqf Development: Managing and developing endowed assets for perpetual charitable benefits.
Sharia Compliance
Muslim Jamaat Trust operates as a fully Sharia-compliant organization:
- An independent Sharia Supervisory Board consisting of renowned Islamic Scholars regularly reviews and certifies our policies, programs, investments, and Zakat distribution.
- All investments are made only in halal, riba-free instruments.
- Zakat funds are distributed strictly to the eight eligible categories mentioned in the Quran (Surah At-Tawbah 9:60).
- Any inadvertent non-Sharia income is purified and redirected to charity.
We align our financial practices with standards from the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) where applicable.
Transparency & Accountability
- Annual independent audits by certified accountants.
- Detailed financial reports and impact stories published on our website.
- Administration costs capped at 10% – ensuring maximum funds reach beneficiaries.
- Donations eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
